| look at this, two updates in a few days. well, the pain is dissipating finally and i can now bear it. i had fun tonight with rachel. she came over and we had dinner then made a cookie pizza and decorated it. we were waiting for the walhofs to show up but they were running late and ended up not coming but we still had fun, dancing to Last Dollar (Fly Away) by Tim McGraw and singing of course. it was great. altough we did stay up fairly late considering i'm going on 4 hours of sleep. i'm surprisingly wide awake. which is not necessarily a good thing. anyway, i'm going to find food and then go to bed. | | |
| so, i'm terrible at updating but thats okay. nothing really has been going on other than a visit from my favorite sister last week. i thoroughly enjoyed last week, having four days off to spend with jess. then this week was back to normal. oh, good news on the charley front, she's finally walking. a few days before her 18 month check up and she starts to walk. took her long enough. but then i was walking at 8 1/2 months. so of course anything seems late compared to that. anyway, we've gone to the park three days this week with plans to hopefully go tomorrow. supposed to be 70 tomorrow. good day to be outside. went ice blocking last night. fun/scary the first few times then it got old especially since i had a very hard time staying on the stupid block. woke up during the night with incredible neck pain that has not lessened during the day. i am now taking pain meds and heading to bed soon. i hope this goes away soon or i will be miserable to be around for the next few days and i can't really be like that cause i'm having guests over on saturday and youth group is having a lock-in tomorrow night so i need to be in a semblance of a good mood for that. well, i've rambled long enough for tonight. good night all | | |
| today i have been going nonstop. mom and i spent just over two hours this morning running all sorts of errands. we went to church and got king's scrip for auntie gert, then went to safeway and filled the car with gas, then stopped in safeway to get a few things, then dumped all the recycling stuff in the bins, then went to the post office, then picked up share, then dropped one of those off at auntie gerts, then went to king's to do more grocery shopping, then went to sam's club to finish with the groceries. after we got back i ate a little lunch and started making the salsa roja for my enchilada recipe that i'm trying out tonight. quite frankly, i'm not sure they're gonna be that good. the salsa roja smells pretty nasty in my opinion, but we'll give it a shot to prove itself. will let you know if they were any good or not. now, i'm taking a break and watching some voyager. next comes laundry and making the enchiladas. the the family is coming over for dinner and we'll see if all this work was worth it. so thats my day in a nutshell. | | |
| well, its been quite a few days since monday and all of those days i have taken the meds given to me by the dr. and i am still in quite a bit of pain. i have two pills left. not good. i just don't know what to do about my knee. its driving me crazy. so, whoever reads this, if you could pray for healing for my knee, i would greatly appreciate that. | | |
| well, went to the dr. today for my knee. not incredibly helpful but i did get some meds that will hopefully make the pain go away. cause if it doesn't go away, then i have to go back and get some imaging done. i'd rather not have to go that far. the upside of this whole thing was that i got the afternoon off. so, yeah, thats life right now | | |
